Kindergarten Information Nights set for Anoka-Hennepin elementary schools

Calling all future kindergarten families! Elementary schools across the school district are hosting information nights during the months of March and April and you are invited.

Why it matters: Establishing a connection with students and families provides a foundation for school success. Parents, incoming students and other family members are welcome to attend.  

On the agenda: At a Kindergarten Information Night, parents will hear directly from the principal and teachers about what to expect in kindergarten and ask questions to help them prepare. Staff will be present to help with the enrollment process for those who need to complete that process. Dates and times of events are listed by school:

• Adams Elementary: Thursday, April 23 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Andover Elementary: Tuesday, April 7 A-K 4:30- 5:15 p.m., L-Z 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
• Brookside Elementary: Thursday, April 9 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
• Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy: Thursday, March 26 A-L 5-5:30 p.m., M-Z 6-6:30 p.m.

Children must be five years old by Sept. 1, 2026, to enroll in kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year. Enroll online at ahschools.us/enroll or in-person at a local elementary school. Use the school locator to determine the school that serves your neighborhood.
